European Women’s Business Forum 2024 “EUROWOMAN 2024 Woman of Ukraine” Unites Female Leaders in Lviv

Lviv, Ukraine | November 29, 2024 — On the eve of winter, the city of Lviv became the epicenter of inspiration, resilience, and leadership as it hosted the European Women’s Business Forum 2024 “Woman of Ukraine” — a landmark event organized by the International Club of Successful Women “WOMEN OF UKRAINE”, in partnership with the European Association for Business Development (EABD) and the NGO Voices of Ukraine.

The Forum gathered hundreds of women leaders from across Ukraine and Europe — entrepreneurs, innovators, public officials, diplomats, artists, educators, and activists — all united by a common mission: to accelerate women’s leadership in business, strengthen international partnerships, and support Ukraine’s recovery and growth through female-led initiatives.

A Platform for Power and Purpose

Under the theme “Rebuilding the Future with Women’s Energy”, the Forum featured a dynamic program of high-level panel discussions, expert workshops, startup presentations, and international networking. The event spotlighted:

• Innovative women-led businesses

• Cross-border investment and trade opportunities

• Education and mentorship for young female entrepreneurs

• Women’s role in post-war economic recovery

• Sustainable development and social impact initiatives

Participants engaged in powerful conversations on how women are not only surviving the war — but driving solutions in the fields of entrepreneurship, diplomacy, technology, healthcare, culture, and humanitarian work.

Voices of Leadership

The Forum opened with a keynote address by Olga Azarova, founder of the International Club of Successful Women "Women of Ukraine", who emphasized the vital role women play in shaping Ukraine’s future — both in times of peace and in the face of conflict.

“Ukrainian women are rebuilding this country not only with bricks, but with vision, action, and courage,” said Azarova. “This Forum is proof that even in war, our spirit is unbreakable, and our mission is global.”

A highlight of the Forum was the Youth Entrepreneurship Showcase, where young Ukrainian girls — some displaced by the war — presented social startups, creative enterprises, and tech innovations. The Forum served as a launchpad for cross-generational mentorship and collaboration.
