The initiative of the International Club of Successful Women was taken up by women from the UK, Ukraine, Germany, France, USA, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, and Turkmenistan.
Larisa Lobanova, a world-known Fashion Designer and WORLD WOMAN CLUB Founders Olga Azarova, Svitlana Gerey, Viktoria Chindatskaya, and Aurika Vranchanu invented this idea.
CONCEPT: popularization of beneficence with one's own example, a way to unite women's initiatives in 5 niches (design, media, business, social sphere, club).
In 2013, a unique charity fashion project called "WOMEN FOR CHILDREN" was launched, aimed at bringing women together to make a meaningful impact through five key areas of collaboration. This initiative combines fashion, leadership, and philanthropy to create a powerful movement that supports those in need while elevating designers and businesswomen.1. Creating a Fashion Collection: The project begins with inviting a talented designer who is eager to create a memorable fashion collection. This is a unique opportunity for the designer to gain global recognition and media exposure. The project provides a platform where creativity meets purpose, helping the designer not only showcase their work but also contribute to a greater cause.
2. Media Support and Global PR: In today’s world, if a project is not shared with the global audience, it remains unnoticed. Media partners play a crucial role in documenting and promoting the charity event. From photo and video coverage of the runway show to TV reports and articles in top magazines and websites, the media ensures the project reaches a global audience, amplifying its message and impact.
3. Gathering Women Leaders: A key element of the project is engaging women leaders who want to become models for this charity initiative. These women, members of various professional networks like the Club of Successful Women, serve as role models, demonstrating the importance of giving back and supporting worthy causes. The project highlights how women can use their influence to inspire others to do good.
4. Charity Fundraising: At the heart of the project is fundraising for a noble cause. One of the project’s partner organizations takes responsibility for the fundraising efforts. Each dress purchased by the women who participate in the show includes a donation to charity. Additionally, other women are encouraged to join the initiative, helping raise significant amounts for charitable causes.
5. Choosing a Cause: Each year, the Club of Successful Women selects a different cause to support, focusing on those who are most in need. This includes women affected by war, orphans, and children with disabilities. The variety of causes ensures that the impact of the project is broad and reaches different communities every year.
Together, these five pillars form a powerful collaboration between designers, philanthropists, media professionals, and members of the club. The project not only helps raise awareness and funds for important causes but also gives designers global exposure, brings women together for a shared mission, and showcases how fashion can be used to create real, visible change in the world.
