У Єврокомісії заявили про зупинку всієї допомоги Палестині через напад на Ізраїль

Європейська комісія оголосила про зупинку фінансової допомоги Палестині через напад бойовиків ХАМАС на Ізраїль.

Як заявив єврокомісар з питань сусідства Олівер Варгеї, ЄК більше не фінансуватиме проєкти розвитку на палестинських територіях. За його словами, неможливо мати справу з тими, хто тероризує Ізраїль та його народ.

"Масштаби терору і жорстокості проти Ізраїля та його народу є переломним моментом… Як найбільший донор палестинців, Європейська комісія переглядає весь свій портфель проєктів розвитку на загальну суму 691 мільйон євро", - заявив Варгеї.

Також він наголосив, що Єврокомісія вирішила переглянути усі проєкти щодо Палестини.

"Основи миру, толерантності та співіснування потребують негайного вирішення. Підбурювання до ненависті, насильства та прославляння терору отруїли свідомість надто великої кількості людей. Ми потребуємо дій, і ми потребуємо їх зараз", - заявив єврокомісар.
