The Ukrainian gene, as proven by genetic scientists, is the ancestor of nearly all European Slavic peoples. The ancient Ukrainian civilization and culture date back tens of thousands of years before our era — a heritage that has shaped the strength of will and courage of Ukrainians as a nation, forming the image of Ukrainians in the world as exceptionally strong and freedom‑loving people.
And such strength is embodied by Ukrainian women — who are equally resilient and steadfast.
Ukrainian women are, by nature, strong‑willed, self‑sufficient and brave heroes.
Where are these strong women today? We asked current Ukrainian women leaders — founders and directors of the International Club of Successful Women “WOMEN OF THE NATION” (WWC), which unites active entrepreneurs, politicians, scientists, cultural figures and public leaders.
“Women of Ukraine today are an example of incredible strength of spirit! For us, women, nothing is impossible when our children, husbands, fathers and our country must be safe. Right now, in this terrible war, Ukrainian women prove every day their courage, resilience, bravery, endurance, power, strength, and boundless love for the most valuable things in life — peace and security!
While my sisters are defending Ukraine with weapons in their hands, I contribute every day on our volunteer front.
From the very first days of the war, we created a safe and comfortable environment where we host 250–300 refugees from cities with active combat.
With $300,000 we purchased and delivered to our defenders body armor, load‑bearing gear, thermal imagers, helmets and everything necessary for the warriors.
Thousands of people are provided with hot meals and essential medications thanks to the coordinated work of our team.
We prepared a bomb shelter for residents of high‑rise buildings, where nearly 100 people can stay safely during air raid alarms and attacks.
Tens of thousands of kilometers have been traveled in recent days to deliver tons of humanitarian aid to refugees, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Territorial Defense forces, National Guard defenders, and others in need.
I also organized the permanent supply of essential hormonal medicines like Euthyrox and L‑Thyroxin, without which many lives are impossible.
Hundreds of useful deeds and prayers each day from our women at the International Club of Successful Women bring us closer to Victory — I am sure of it! Because with women’s synergy, everything is possible! Thank you to all women of the world, women’s organizations, and public activists for your support! Together we can achieve more!”

That is why no one now believes Lavrov, and we see delegates walk out of the UN hall when Russia’s chief liar speaks. The world can no longer tolerate this.
The world has finally seen this terrible machinery of manipulation of collective consciousness. No one in Europe or in the world will ever embrace those who kill and lie simultaneously. The world now sees the true face of Russia. No “great Russian culture — ballet, theater, etc.” will ever cover the bodies of killed children, women and men in Bucha, Hostomel, Borodyanka, Mariupol, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv…
We engaged major global publications and send articles to Reuters, Time Inc., NYT, BOSS, Fortune, World Woman, and inform respected international organizations — United Nations, Vital Voices, WEDO, ISWC, World Woman Forum, EuroWoman Forum. All of this creates an important united world environment of free and strong people who will not let the aggressor conquer territories as in medieval times or impose a culture of war and killing.
The purpose of our media work is simple: to ensure all criminals are held accountable — for the downed Dutch plane, for Crimea, for the occupation of Donbas, for the attack on Ukraine, for thousands of deaths, for our beloved fertile Motherland Ukraine. And we will succeed.”

It is sad that we were forced to close our WWC chapter in Russia because no representative there could speak the truth, let alone defend it. More so, no one could even say the word ‘war’ or say ‘we are for peace.’ This paralyzing virus of lies from Russian TV distorted public consciousness. Like international brands, we introduced sanctions and closed the WWC chapter in Russia.
Now our main goal is to explain scientific facts from history, genetics, archaeology, sociology, political science and diplomacy — to reveal the truth of international relations, expose hidden collusion by some states with the aggressor, and show the weaknesses of international security institutions. Our joint mission is to build a new paradigm and system of global security — and this is also our front.”

“My role as Vice‑President of Communications at the International Club of Successful Women ‘WOMEN OF UKRAINE’ is to establish connections with progressive communities around the world to unite efforts in the fight against the aggressor and to secure peace in Ukraine. We focus on women’s issues globally and on building ties between women’s organizations.
In 2000, the UN Security Council adopted historic Resolution 1325, designed to transform international diplomacy by enabling women at all levels of decision‑making in national, regional and international mechanisms of conflict prevention, regulation and resolution. More than 20 years have passed, and we believe that women can be guarantors of peace in the world.
Active participation of women in politics and civic life is essential for peace. The higher the share of women in parliaments, government, and civic organizations, the less likely violations of human rights, political imprisonment, torture, killings, and disappearances become. Women are less inclined to support military force and more sensitive to the human cost of war and humanitarian crises. Let’s drop the false argument that women are too busy with children and daily life to engage in such activities. In a country at war, in crisis, where reforms are delayed — women must serve in government, civil society, in media leadership and in charitable foundations.
Women can also play decisive roles in conflict resolution. Global experience shows that their efforts increase the chances of peace agreements. Yet women are still absent from formal negotiations — as mediators or signatories of peace agreements.
Who else but women can create spaces of trust, harmony and peace — including the moral values women carry proudly? Everything depends on the woman who stands up and moves forward, even when everyone struggles. It is encouraging that Ukrainian society has cultivated the value of women — mothers, caretakers of children and state. These are the women who now can and must become the pillars of peace.
No Ukrainian family has escaped the horrors of war. But every one of us must understand: help your country with what you do best. From the very first days of the war, my weapon has been words and the ability to communicate quickly and coordinate others — so I work in the informational battalion and active civic engagement.
In Ukraine, civil society is strong, including many women’s organizations whose aim is to involve more women in official security mechanisms. Women also make up the majority of those providing humanitarian aid and services in Ukraine. Many victims of military actions seek humanitarian, legal and medical assistance, and they see women as the initiators of help.
Today I am in Zurich (Switzerland) — where, for the first time, the Swiss Confederation abandoned neutrality and granted protective status to Ukrainians. This unprecedented event still leaves unresolved refugee issues. Ukrainian Swiss citizens and Ukrainian refugees are now uniting in volunteer initiatives — 90% led by women. Participation in rallies and events, volunteering groups, creating Telegram help channels and support chats (in Ukraine and across Europe, especially Switzerland), articles in Ukrainian and European media, humanitarian aid collection, etc. We held the first Ukrainian forum in Switzerland, Ukrainian‑language television has launched — this is just the beginning, with plans for Ukrainian radio and a powerful Ukrainian‑Swiss women’s community!
So it can be confidently said that it is women who seek ways to strengthen peace and build a more just society. A woman is the foundation of peace in any country! With hope for a swift peace in Ukraine!”

The centuries‑long struggle of two peoples has reached its culmination.
It is time to finally end this long‑standing confrontation. Centuries ago, Russia rewrote history for its own convenience. But we, women, must tell the world about the greatness and age‑old wisdom, hard work and freedom‑loving spirit of the Ukrainian people.
We must share the true history of Kyivan Rus, the founding dates of Kyiv and Muscovy — and settle once and for all who is the true ‘elder brother,’ or whether they were not brothers at all.
We must speak about the place of Kyivan Rus in world history, the influence of Princess Anna, Queen of France, on Europe’s development. These are indisputable historical facts — and facts are stubborn.
For victory over the invaders, the country needs funds. Citizens need salaries. We, WWC women, as conscious citizens have not surrendered to circumstances but have adapted quickly. We support business — delivering dresses to other countries ourselves so our clients do not suffer because of our problems.
This allows us to contribute to the state budget through taxes and support our employees. This is our front: to never give up, to work, and to support our people.”

"Every childbirth in wartime is an act of resistance and hope."

From the very first days of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian doctors — especially those working in maternity care — became silent heroes on the medical front.
At Maternity Hospital No. 7 in Odesa, we continue to fulfill our mission: to bring new life into the world, even when that world is filled with darkness, fear, and destruction. Imagine delivering a child without electricity, without water, without heat — and under constant threat of missile attacks. This has become our daily reality.
When Russian bombs destroy infrastructure, leaving entire cities without power or water, our maternity teams do not stop. We have equipped emergency birthing rooms with generators, battery-powered lighting, and thermal blankets. Our anesthesiologists and OB-GYNs work around the clock in extreme conditions — sometimes performing emergency C-sections in bomb shelters or dimly lit operating rooms.
Pregnant women come to us not just with medical challenges, but with profound psychological trauma. Many have fled occupied or shelled territories, lost homes or loved ones, and are overwhelmed with anxiety about their unborn children. Our staff includes not only doctors and nurses but also crisis psychologists and volunteers who help women regain strength, hope, and the will to give life — even in wartime.
Every newborn is a symbol of defiance. Every safe delivery is a small victory against the darkness. Our mission is not only to preserve life, but to prove that even under the most brutal conditions, Ukrainian women remain unbreakable, and Ukrainian doctors stand firm beside them.
We are grateful to international partners and donors who have supported us with critical supplies — incubators, mobile lighting systems, medicines, and neonatal care equipment. These contributions are not just medical tools — they are instruments of peace, survival, and dignity.
The medical front is quiet but relentless. It is a front of compassion, precision, and unwavering responsibility. And we will not retreat.
Because as long as Ukrainian women are giving birth — Ukraine is alive.

While missiles fall and cities burn, Ukrainian women on the Cultural Front continue to protect, promote, and pass on the heritage of our people — both at home and abroad.
Through the work of the International Club of Successful Women “Women of Ukraine,” we are safeguarding Ukraine’s national identity in the face of brutal destruction.
Under the leadership of Tetyana Markova, we have organized Forums of Cultural Diplomacy in Paris and Munich — events that bring together artists, diplomats, thought leaders, and the international community to highlight the beauty, resilience, and global significance of Ukrainian culture. These gatherings are not only about showcasing tradition — they are about building understanding, solidarity, and strategic cultural partnerships with the world.
At the same time, we protect our traditions within Ukraine. One example is the beautiful initiative led by Lyudmyla Stanislavlenko — the Ukrainian Headscarf Days (Hustka Days), which celebrate the symbolic and historical importance of the traditional Ukrainian kerchief. These events help preserve our unique customs and foster unity and pride among Ukrainian women of all generations.
But cultural diplomacy is not only about symbolism — it is also about people. Russia’s bombing campaigns have destroyed the homes, studios, and creative livelihoods of countless Ukrainian artists, musicians, writers, and performers. We stand with them.
We have supported artists who lost everything and are forced to start again from zero — like the family of painter Olha Kotlyarova-Prokopenko, whose home and workshop were destroyed. We help them rebuild their lives, find new spaces for creation, and regain the strength to keep their art alive.
We also actively promote Ukrainian art on the international stage. Thanks to the efforts of women like Natalia Prodanchuk and others within our network, Ukrainian artists are being exhibited abroad, published, and supported through sales, residencies, and gallery partnerships.
The Cultural Front is as vital as any battlefield. It is the front that defends our memory, our language, our creativity, and our collective spirit. It is the front that ensures Ukraine’s identity is not erased — but amplified. Because to destroy a nation, the enemy first targets its culture. And we, Ukrainian women, will not let that happen.
